The Direction In Times Of Crisis

Not everyone who has the opportunity to lead, knows a techniques or management systems to be applied to head and to think that it is only necessary to give orders. If the employees do not do a good job, the choice will be to hire new ones because there are not a problem finding people available to work in this time of economic crisis.

What happens when we are always recruiting new staff Ɂ:

First, we spend money on training, teaching our systems and working methods.

Second: We must accept that our employees will make many errors, which affect our customers not being well cared for, change to another company.

Third, if our employees are not identified with our company, they could leave us without giving us the opportunity to search for his replacement immediately.

Fourth, our work systems and techniques will be transfer of the competition because these people are made known.

Just looking at these four aspects we can realize what it means to be always hiring new staff, by not giving due importance to certain losses, at the end of the year we see that we have had significant losses and we blame only the recession, that while true is affecting all companies, is also true that companies with a permanent staff, who identify with the company, have lost less and often are the ones that survive.

We must understand that the main differences between our company and the competition is the human factor and that the management technique that we apply will be the foundation for determining the success of our company or failure there of.

What should be the qualities of managers and heads of our company Ɂ

l. – All leaders must be proactive in all activities of the company, be very enthusiastic and contagious enthusiasm to the staff involved in making plans and programs established and have an entrepreneurial spirit to take on ever new challenges.

2 .- A good leader must know how to listen to their staff and explain their ideas clearly while checking they are understood and there are no doubts.

3 .- A good leader must have a critical vision of reality that allows you to make the best decisions.

4 .- Every chief should have confidence in himself and his ability to lead.

5 .- A leader must also have integrity in its actions, to fulfill its commitments to its staff, treating everyone equally, without discrimination or differentiation in treatment.

6 .- Every chief must also be flexible as the reality of things make when you’re inflexible many plans and programs can not be applied in its entirety so you must learn to adapt to changes and take risks.

7 .- Every chief has to be a leader to influence subordinates to achieve the program objectives and ensure that not only do the work expected, but be far more established.

8 .- It will also be provided with job security but at this time that is difficult, and if for any reason we will reduce our staff we should to let them know it is for a short time and when the storm passes we’ll be calling them back to our company, if the staff identifies with the company they will be assured that when you call them they will return back to work immediately.

These are some tips to keep in mind to achieve a good direction to enable us to achieve the planned objectives also have a permanent staff to see the company not as a temporary site but as a second home where they hope to make a career.
